About the Role

We are looking for a qualified teacher with experience in teaching Year 2 students. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods. They will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and team player who can work effectively in a collaborative environment. They will be expected to participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons for Year 2 students
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to engage and inspire students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behavior and positive relationships
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive working environment.
