Plumbing and Pipework Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced plumbing supervisor to oversee the delivery of plumbing, mechanical, and electrical services to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all services are carried out in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), company policies, and health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of plumbing, mechanical, and electrical services to clients
  • Mentor engineers and apprentices to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members
  • Produce reports and quotations to clients
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs, company policies, and health and safety standards

Requirements:

  • A time-served mechanical/plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum six years' experience in the field
  • A proactive and innovative approach to service delivery
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of L8/Legionella, BMS systems, and all other M&E & HVAC
  • IT literacy and comfort working with an electronic works management system (CAFM)
  • A positive 'Can Do' attitude and a motivation to excel
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence working on large complex mechanical and electrical systems and various types of pipework and fittings
  • A willingness to form part of an on-call rota and contribute to the productivity and profit of your team
