Male Support Assistant

Are you a compassionate and experienced individual looking for a rewarding role? We are seeking a dedicated Male Support Assistant to provide personal care to a teenage boy with complex health needs after school and weekends. Additional hours may be available during holidays and staff sickness.
About the Role:
As a Male Support Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized support to our client, including:
- Providing personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with moving and handling to ensure the client's safety and comfort
- Supporting the client with epilepsy management, including administering medication and monitoring seizures
- Assisting with peg feeding and oxygen care as needed
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A full training program is provided for the right candidate. An enhanced DBS check is also required for this position.
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
