Job Overview

Trinity Resource Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our existing customer relationships, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity
  • Prepare and present proposals, reports, and other sales materials to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of sales experience in the consumer electronics industry, preferably with a manufacturer, brand owner, or Original Equipment Manufacturer supplier
  • Proven track record of growing existing accounts and opening new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to think strategically and plan for long-term growth
  • High degree of numeracy and ability to handle customer meetings with confidence
  • Ability to prepare and present proposals in writing and face-to-face
  • Graduate or similar level of intellectual ability
  • Good standard of PC literacy, including Microsoft Office competency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in building strong relationships and gaining the trust and respect of customers at all levels
  • Ability to influence sales growth and effectively operate in a sales environment
  • Team player with a willingness to cover for other staff as required and take on other tasks when requested by Line Manager
  • Able to operate on own initiative and take prompt action to overcome problems as they arise
