Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Support Assistants to join our dedicated team in Bedford. As a SEND Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to placing students at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:
  • • Provide one-to-one or group support to students with SEND, both in academic and non-academic settings.
        • Assist with the implementation of individual learning plans and reasonable adjustments.
        • Support students in accessing campus facilities, resources, and technology.
        • Collaborate with academic staff and support teams to deliver a coordinated approach to student support.
        • Maintain accurate records of student progress and support activities.
        • Promote independence and empower students to overcome challenges.


Requirements:
  • • Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
        • GCSE C grade or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
        • Experience supporting young people with SEND in an educational or care setting
        • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
        • Passion for helping students succeed


Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £12 per hour, paid weekly, term-time only. You will also receive ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
