General Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead our Warehouse operations in West Yorkshire. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the Warehouse, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency in all internal movements, transfers, and storage of clients' products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of approximately 70 personnel, providing leadership and development opportunities to drive performance and growth.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Developing and implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, providing clear and concise insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements include:

  • Proven experience in operational management and control within the 3PL industry.
  • Strong leadership and development skills, with a track record of driving team performance and growth.
  • FMC industry experience, with a deep understanding of client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • IT literacy and numeracy, with the ability to analyze data and drive business insights.
