Job Title: High-Risk Infant Occupational Therapy Specialist

We are recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Leeds Children's Hospital, focusing on providing specialist care to high-risk infants and their families.

Main Duties:

  1. Manage a caseload of patients with complex health needs on neonatal units, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
  2. Provide expert intervention to support infant and parental occupations, including postural support, developmental care, and equipment provision.
  3. Participate in ward rounds, discharge planning, and family integrated care meetings, ensuring seamless communication with healthcare professionals.
  4. Operational leadership and supervision of junior staff, undergraduate students, and MDT members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Person Requirements:

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.

Salary Range: £56,900 - £68,785 per annum.
