King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a leading healthcare provider with a strong commitment to excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Medicines Management Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and participate in ward-based pharmacy services in conjunction with clinical and patient services staff.
  • Support the delivery of a high-quality pharmacy service, under the direction of the line manager.
  • Provide a pharmacy technical link between the wards and pharmacy team, taking the lead in assessing and maintaining patient's own drugs and one-stop dispensing systems.
  • Support with discharge planning and patient counselling.

The post holder will be managed by the Lead Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician and will be responsible for maintaining compliance with King's policies and procedures for Medicines Management Pharmacy Technicians.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice, with experience in hospital pharmacy and a proven track record of delivering high-quality services. They will be registered as a pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and hold an accredited checking pharmacy technician (ACPT) qualification.
