About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Physiotherapist to join our team at Copeland ICC, providing admission prevention, supported discharge, specialist assessment, and rehabilitation for patients with a wide range of long and short-term conditions.

The successful candidate will need to be motivated and able to demonstrate excellent assessment and communication skills, as well as work well in a team environment.

The ICC offers a 7-day service with hours between 8am-8pm, with an expectation of the post holder to support this with flexible shift patterns.

Main Duties

The Physiotherapist will work particularly with frailty patients, those who are at risk of or who have fallen, and for patients with long-term conditions.

They will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to demonstrate the ability to work in challenging environments, and be committed to working autonomously, providing evidence-based assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.

This post offers the chance to develop clinical, supervisory, and managerial skills, and we support the education of physiotherapy students from local universities.
