Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Team in Carlisle and District ICC. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as a Band 5 Physiotherapist and be willing to work towards the competency framework for a Band 6 Senior Physio role.
  • Contribute to the prevention of unnecessary hospital admissions, facilitation of early discharge from the hospital setting, and provision of patient-centered support.
  • Participate in the Lead Professional of the Day rota, Discharge to Assess, and contribute to the rapid response functions of the team.
  • Support physiotherapy students on placement and contribute to the ongoing learning and development of staff within the team and local MDT.

Our Community Rehabilitation Team works closely with members of the ICC, Adult Social Care, and other agencies to deliver high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services. We are committed to creating a centre of excellence in providing rural and remote healthcare and provide a wide range of community and acute services throughout our county.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified Physiotherapist with a passion for patient care and rehabilitation. You will also need to be willing to work towards the competency framework for a Band 6 Senior Physio role and be able to contribute to the ongoing learning and development of staff within the team and local MDT.
