Role Overview:

We are seeking a Graduate Learning Mentor to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our staff, you will provide academic and personal support to a 12-year-old male pupil who requires additional guidance due to his diagnosed condition of Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).

Your primary responsibilities will include developing tailored educational plans, providing emotional support, and engaging in various activities to foster social and emotional growth. We seek a highly skilled and compassionate graduate with a passion for teaching and learning.

As a Graduate Learning Mentor, you will form close relationships with the pupil, their family, and other school staff members. By contributing your expertise and enthusiasm, you will play a vital role in enhancing the pupil's educational experience.

Main Duties:
  • Deliver high-quality academic support to the pupil

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Experience working with children with SEND and PDA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
Salary Band: £27,000 - £31,000 per annum
