About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality, affordable day care to children and families through effective management of staff, budget, and resources. This will involve developing and implementing Early Years curriculum plans, managing nursery staff and children, and maintaining and developing the nursery's high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise nursery staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education to children
  • Develop and implement Early Years curriculum plans to meet the needs of children and families
  • Maintain and develop the nursery's high standards of care and education
  • Report to the Chief Executive and contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the nursery
Requirements
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent qualification
  • Experience: At least 2 years in a nursery or early years setting
  • Skills: Significant experience with EYFS curriculum planning and implementation, good ICT and report-writing skills
  • Leadership: Previous supervision or management experience
