About the Role: Domestic Abuse Housing Advocate

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced professional to join our team as a Domestic Abuse Housing Advocate. This critical role requires a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding domestic abuse and its intersection with homelessness. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to develop tailored support plans that prioritize their safety and well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in providing specialist homelessness casework to survivors of domestic abuse. They will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of achieving positive outcomes for clients, while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert guidance and support to clients navigating the homelessness system
* Develop and implement tailored support plans that prioritize client safety and well-being
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve outcomes for domestic abuse survivors with housing needs
* Contribute to the development of the Resilience Team and wider Housing Advisory Service

Requirements:
* Significant experience in providing specialist homelessness casework to vulnerable populations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong knowledge of welfare, homelessness, and housing policy, strategies, and legislation

Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
