Accounts Payable Team Leader - 12 Month Contract Role

Gerald Eve LLP is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our team on a 12-month contract. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing a small, dedicated accounts payable team, ensuring the efficient processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily AP operations, monitoring workflow and AP processes
  2. Manage and support 1-2 AP professionals
  3. Manage AP ledgers of two separate entities
  4. Post and review bank payment journals
  5. Provide weekly cashflow forecasts
  6. Perform monthly AP ledger reconciliation
  7. Oversee implementation of new AP system

About the Role:

  1. Must be willing to assist with processing invoices and expenses
  2. Must have strong knowledge of AP, e.g. supplier management, payment run (end to end), employee expense run, invoice processing, ad-hoc reporting, analysis and KPI reporting
  3. Good Excel skills (lookup/pivot tables, etc)
  4. Good communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
