As a CAD Technician at Network Rail, you'll contribute to delivering a better railway for a better Britain by working on projects that align with industry standards and processes. This role is part of Route Services, which provides services to Routes so they can support Network Rail's objectives.

You'll be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day running of the CAD department, managing data files and records, producing and amending 3D models, modelling point cloud data, preparing CAD quality reports, and developing the Signal Sighting Virtual Reality Model.

We're looking for someone with experience in 2D and 3D within Bentley MicroStation V8i, ability to model point cloud data, and undertake CAD quality assurance and reporting. You'll also need an appreciation of all life cycle stages of rail infrastructure.

This is a Band 5 opportunity with a salary of approximately £28,500 per annum, depending on skills and experience. You'll have access to a range of employee benefits, including flexible working arrangements, up to 28 days annual leave, rail travel subsidies, and pension options.
