Product Development Specialist

Product Development Role
We're seeking a skilled Product Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for formulating and developing products that meet consumer needs and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and develop products alongside global partners, aligning with consumer insights and market trends.
- Oversee and enhance our existing portfolio of products.
- Initiate new product concepts and create compelling demonstrations for innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Quality Control, and Packaging departments to provide essential technical support.
- Conduct laboratory and clinical tests to ensure product efficacy and safety.
- Manage and mentor Junior Development Chemists and interns, guiding them to achieve their goals.
Requirements:
- Excellent Communication: Strong influencing skills and the ability to build effective project teams across functions.
- Self-Motivation: A proactive attitude with the ability to plan, use initiative, and solve problems creatively.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced IT skills, especially in Microsoft software, with the ability to present information clearly.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe and maintain contact with teams in the US and Australia.
Background:
- Industry Experience: Proven expertise in FMCG, particularly in personal care and oral care formulation.
- Academic Credentials: A university degree in Sciences or a related relevant qualification.
