Head Dental Nurse Manager

Antwerp House Dentistry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Dental Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Practice Manager with the day-to-day management of the practice, including ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, CQC, and GDC standards.
- Complete clinical audits and maintain compliance logs via IComply.
- Monitor practice equipment and ensure all are correctly serviced and maintained.
- Manage stock control and weekly ordering of materials.
- Chair regular nurses' meetings.
- Handle HR requirements, including training and inductions.
- Gain a full working knowledge of the practice computer system (SOE).
- Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR.
- Report all concerns to the Practice Director or Practice Manager.
- Proven experience in a dental practice with strong dental nurse skills.
- Current GDC registration.
- Ability to lead and manage a team.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Must be a team player.
- IT literate with good numeracy ability.
- Be comfortable following internal and external processes/procedures.
- Should be personable, polite, and patient.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security.
Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 5:30pm (one hour unpaid lunch break).
Salary:£14.75-16.00 per hour.
