Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and organized individual to assist the Practice Manager with the day-to-day management of our busy practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the nursing team, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure practice compliance with health and safety, CQC, and GDC standards.
- Complete clinical audits and maintain compliance logs via IComply.
- Monitor practice equipment and ensure proper servicing and maintenance.
- Manage stock control and weekly ordering of materials.
- Chair regular nurses' meetings.
- Handle HR requirements, including training and inductions.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the practice computer system (SOE).
- Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR.
- Report any concerns to the Practice Director or Practice Manager.
- Proven experience in a dental practice with strong dental nurse skills.
- Current GDC registration.
- Ability to lead and manage a team.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Team player with good numeracy ability.
- IT literate with a strong understanding of internal and external processes.
- Personable, polite, and patient with a commitment to confidentiality and data security.
Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 5:30pm (one hour unpaid lunch break).
