About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Prisoner Custody Officer. As a key member of our Prisoner Escort Custody Services (PECS) team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and secure escorting and custody services to detainees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany defendants in court rooms and cells, ensuring their physical and mental wellbeing
  • Search property or people as required
  • Ensure food and drink are available to detainees
  • Complete paperwork and data entry for the day
Requirements
  • A current valid driver's license
  • Reasonable fitness level
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage and control all situations
