As a Prisoner Custody Officer at Serco, you will play a vital role in providing safe and secure escorting and custody services to detainees. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the physical and mental well-being of those in your care, while also maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accompany defendants in court rooms and cells, ensuring their safety and security at all times.
- Search property or people as required, using your skills and expertise to manage and control all situations.
- Ensure food and drink are available to detainees, and complete paperwork and data entry for the day.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a seamless and efficient service, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
