As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for translating electrical designs into executable projects, ensuring efficient and cost-effective implementation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate electrical designs into executable projects
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective implementation and commissioning
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with various divisional stakeholders
  • Ensure solutions align with client requirements, adhere to safety standards, maintain quality, and meet project timelines
  • Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements
  • Commission electrical installations and facilitate the transition to full production
  • Liaise with designers, maintenance teams, and stakeholders
  • Proficient in interpreting and working with 3D models and design schematics
  • Experience across multiple engineering disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record in project execution and commissioning
  • Operational and maintenance engineering background, with significant experience in successful plant improvements
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft office packages, including Excel and Project
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions under pressure
  • Experience in material handling, heavy industrial machinery, or similar sectors

Travel Requirements:

The role requires nationwide travel, necessitating site visits to various locations across the UK. A company vehicle will be provided, complete with a fuel card.
