**Job Title:** Chief Nursing Officer for Paediatric Services

**About the Role:

The Woodrow Mercer Healthcare Group is seeking an exceptional leader to fill the position of Chief Nursing Officer for Paediatric Services. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the delivery of high-quality care for children and young people.

As the successful candidate, you will provide strategic leadership and management to the nursing services within our paediatric department. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the nursing teams in delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality care that meets national and local quality standards.

You will work closely with senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams to shape the direction of children's services, driving improvements in clinical outcomes and patient experience. This involves developing and implementing strategies to enhance the development of a highly skilled workforce, promoting education, training, and leadership development.

In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will oversee service delivery across paediatric inpatient, outpatient, and community services, ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained. You will also ensure the delivery of robust governance frameworks, maintaining patient safety and meeting regulatory and national standards for paediatric services.

**Key Requirements:*

  • Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration.
  • Extensive experience in paediatric nursing, with a strong understanding of national children's healthcare standards and guidelines.
  • Significant experience in a senior leadership role within an acute hospital, ideally with experience in children's services.

**Salary:** £120,000 - £150,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
