Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum

Job Description

As a Trauma-Informed Specialist Clinician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions to children and young people who have experienced trauma. You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to provide community-based assessments, individual and group-based interventions, supervision, and management.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting multi-disciplinary assessments to identify the needs of children and young people
  • Providing individual and group-based therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and well-being
  • Supervising and managing a caseload of clients to ensure safe and effective clinical practices
  • Developing and delivering training packages and consultations to support the wider network of professionals working with children and young people

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A professionally registered qualification in a relevant field, such as Clinical Psychology, Child Psychotherapy, Family Therapy, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy
  • Experience of working with children and young people who have experienced trauma
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, service users, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload and priorities
