Examiner - International GCSE - Greek Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Greek language examiner to join our team at Pearson. As an examiner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our marking processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Mark candidates' responses in accordance with our pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to our conditions of recognition and examination procedures.
- Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times.
- Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to.
- Ensure all administration is completed as specified.
Requirements
- You will have a degree or equivalent qualification.
- You will be a qualified teacher, with qualifications obtained in the UK or overseas.
- You will have a minimum of 5 months part-time teaching experience of the relevant qualification and subject, within the last 10 years, obtained within the UK.
- We will consider applicants who do not have teaching experience but who have assessment experience with a recognised UK exam board, within the last 5 years, relevant to the qualification and subject being applied for.
Competencies Required
- You will have the ability to work well under pressure.
- You will have the ability to meet deadlines.
- You will have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme.
