Principal Examiner International GCSE Greek Internationally Based

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Examiner to join our team of experts in International GCSE Greek. As a Principal Examiner, you will be responsible for producing high-quality assessment materials, including question papers and mark schemes, and ensuring the standardization of marking.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce working draft papers and respond to amendments or suggestions to produce a final draft.
- Set and approve questions and mark schemes, ensuring they meet the specification's content and assessment criteria.
- Attend the Question Paper Evaluation Committee meeting (QPEC) and produce a final draft.
- Ensure final question papers meet the specification content and assessment objectives.
- Monitor marking standards of all examiners and ensure accuracy and consistency throughout.
- Monitor examiner standards, advise on appointment, training, and reappointment.
- Attend the awarding meeting and advise on mark ranges for grade boundaries.
- Submit an evaluation report on performance of the question paper.
- Experience of teaching the relevant subject and level.
- Qualified Teacher Status is desirable.
- Assessment experience in the relevant qualification.
- Experience of managing people.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Clear and proactive communication.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Effective decision-making.
- Ability to maximize potential in yourself and others.
- Strong organization and IT skills.
