Job Summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Coordinator to join our team in Dartford. As an HSE Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, clients, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HSE function, including maintaining training records, planning training sessions, and developing the training program.
  • Risk Management: Conduct site walkarounds and inspections to identify risks and areas of concern, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Emergency Response: Maintain the site emergency response plan, equipment, and competency of the emergency response team.
  • Contractor Management: Manage contractors, including reviewing RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) and issuing access permits to work.
  • Reporting and Communication: Compile environmental and safety statistics, report on incidents, and assist with investigations to identify corrective actions and share lessons learned.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for HSE performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Good basic education to GCSE (or equivalent standard), which will include an English and Maths qualification. Education to A-Level/HNC standard or University would be beneficial.
  • Training: Very proficient in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. NEBOSH Certificate or relevant HSE qualifications/experience.
  • Experience: Experience in FM management environment. Some understanding of ISO accreditations and H&S Regulations.
  • Aptitudes: Excellent command of the English language, demonstrated through good verbal and written communication. Must be detail-conscious, accurate, and methodical in approach.
  • Character: Must demonstrate a strong sense of customer focus, promote a sense of team spirit and good morale within the office, and be reliable and able to complete work within required time frames.
