Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Assurance Officer to join our Finance and Business Assurance Service Area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of our Business Assurance programme, including compliance checks, risk management, and internal audit.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Compliance and Risk Management**: Undertake compliance checks in line with our Business Assurance programme and organise, administer and report on the organisation's fraud and risk management framework.
  • **Internal Audit**: Support the Governance Service Manager in the delivery of our Internal Audit Programme, including facilitation of the audit process, management of audit action sign-off and reporting to the Executive Management Team and Audit Committee.
  • **Investigations and Analysis**: Support the organisation's management team in respect of organising, information gathering and carrying out investigations, and provide analysis including service level agreement performance monitoring.
  • **Policy Review and Awareness**: Review existing policies and procedures in line with current legislation and government guidance, and raise awareness with staff.
