We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Divisional Lead for NMAHP Research and Innovation to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our research and innovation team, you will play a crucial role in driving forward our research agenda and ensuring that our research and innovation activities are aligned with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Align research and innovation with the Division, Trust's and OxInAHR strategic goals.
- Participate actively in the Trust's strategic forums to share best practice and align standards with Trust policy, procedures and initiatives as relevant.
- Take on the responsibility of conducting a Divisional analysis of highly complex data to inform the research and innovation developments needed based on priorities and risks.
- Work together with Divisional clinical and research leads and Director of NMAHP Research and Innovation to set up clear mechanisms to record, monitor and measure the outcomes of research and innovation activities.
- Support the development, progress and sustainability of clinical quality improvement initiatives within the Division, and where needed take a lead across the Trust and University to share best practice.
- Support increased visibility of clinical practice development activities and outcomes through the initiation, promotion and support of research activities as agreed.
- Support the integration of clinical research delivery teams within the clinical areas within the Division.
- Maintain own research activity and portfolio through grant applications, conducting and supporting research as a CI/PI and research dissemination.
- Supervise students doing Doctoral studies and MSc dissertation supervision as required within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.
