About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Innovation and Research Scientist to join our team at OXB, a leading provider of viral vector development and manufacturing services.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with and executing laboratory scale viral vector production experiments, preparing high-quality content for internal review, and presenting experimental data to the group and wider department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with and execute laboratory scale viral vector production experiments for new products and optimize production of existing viral vector products.
  • Prepare high-quality content for internal review in both presentation and report format.
  • Presentation of experimental data to the group and at times the wider department.
  • Contribute to departmental ways of working and efficiencies, for example, assisting with laboratory operations and maintenance.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience in biological research and development or equivalent experience gained elsewhere.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Laboratory technical experience with particular emphasis in one or more of the following: lentivirus, adeno-associated virus (AAV), and adenoviral vectors.
