Campus Support Assistant

Job Summary
The University of Hertfordshire is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our Campus Services team as a Campus Services Assistant. This role will involve supporting a range of facilities tasks, including portering, post and goods delivery, signage, audits, and events.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist with manual handling activities, including office moves, classroom resets, and equipment relocation.
- Support with the delivery of post and goods across the University campus.
- Contribute to the delivery of temporary and reactive signage.
- Complete audits and surveys as requested by the Facilities Team.
- Support with a range of university events, including setup, event support, and clear down.
- Assist with large removal projects and space management tasks.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to follow a scheduled work pattern and take a proactive approach to tasks.
- Manual handling skills and attention to detail for auditing tasks.
- Can-do attitude and willingness to support across a range of tasks and activities.
- Valid driving license.
Qualifications
- Minimum of GCSEs, grade C/grade 4 or above in Maths and English, or equivalent vocational training or relevant work experience.
