Campus Support Assistant

Main Responsibilities
The Campus Services Assistant will be working in a dynamic team that completes a range of facilities tasks across the University. These tasks may include:
- Portering: Assisting with manual handling activities such as office moves, classroom resets, and equipment relocation.
- Post and Goods: Supporting the delivery of post and goods across the University campus.
- Signage: Assisting with the installation and removal of temporary and reactive signage.
- Audits: Conducting a range of audits requested by the Facilities Team, including building and utilisation audits.
- Events: Supporting a variety of university events, from setup and event support to clear down.
- Space Management: Assisting with large removal projects and space management tasks.
Key Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be able to follow a scheduled work pattern, and take a proactive approach to tasks. They will be comfortable working in a team and independently, with the ability to complete manual handling tasks and demonstrate attention to detail for auditing purposes. A driving licence is an essential requirement for this role.
Qualifications
A minimum of GCSEs, grade C/grade 4 or above in Maths and English, or equivalent vocational training or relevant work experience is required. Please refer to the job description and person specification for a full list of duties and essential criteria.
