About the Role:

The Disability Assessor position at Maven Consulting Group Ltd presents a unique opportunity for a medical professional to apply their expertise in assessing and evaluating disabilities. This role is ideal for an NMC registered nurse or HCPC qualified healthcare professional seeking a challenging and rewarding career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
  • Produce comprehensive reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine eligibility for benefits.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, gathering information and insights to inform reports.

What We Offer:

  • An excellent starting salary of £37,800 per annum.
  • A 10% bonus, equivalent to £3,780 per year, paid in one lump sum.
  • A flexible working schedule, including Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm and hybrid/home working options.
  • Opportunities for professional development and CPD revalidation support.
  • NMC or HCPC fees paid for.

Requirements:

  • An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist with at least one year of post-registration experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Competent IT and computer skills.
  • Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health.
