Senior Legal Assistant - Residential Property

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Assistant to join our Conveyancing team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our lawyers and clients, ensuring the smooth execution of residential property transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and review of conveyancing documents, including contracts and deeds.
  • Conduct thorough searches and due diligence on properties, identifying potential issues and risks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on transaction progress.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, files, and databases, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive excellence in conveyancing services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in conveyancing, with a strong understanding of freehold, leasehold, and new build transactions.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a busy caseload.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
