We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Analyst to join our Wholesale Market Compliance (WMC) team at Drax Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the group's trading and generation operations comply with physical and financial regulatory requirements.
As a Compliance Analyst, you will work closely with commercial teams, building trust and confidence while challenging the status quo. You will be responsible for delivering physical and financial regulatory compliance across the group, managing and improving policies, processes, systems, and capabilities in line with the latest regulations.
You will use your understanding of energy/financial wholesale markets to develop knowledge in regulated risks associated with Energy Market regulatory framework, including REMIT, MAR, MiFID II, EMIR, TCLC, IOLC, S&P, and FSMA/RAO.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a basic understanding of wholesale physical and financial markets and prior experience working with commercial teams. You will be involved in investigations, including large volumes of data gathering, complex analysis, conducting interviews, and developing/presenting conclusions and recommendations to management.
