About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in Burton-on-Trent. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to a younger adult with an acquired brain injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement care plans to ensure the service user's routines are followed, preventing any distress.
  • Conduct personal care activities, including showering, catheter, and bowel care.
  • Remain engaged and patient with the service user, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
  • Perform domestic duties, including household chores and laundry.
  • Administer medication as prescribed by medical professionals.
  • Record observation checks and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate
  • Up-to-date mandatory training certificates
  • Full up-to-date CV
  • A minimum of 3 months' experience working in a hands-on care role
  • A referenceable work history
  • A bubbly and outgoing personality, with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of those under your care
