Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Property Legal Assistant to join our Business Law Department. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our fee earners, handling a wide range of tasks related to commercial property matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage transaction completions, including preparation of completion statements and addressing outstanding financial queries.
  • Handle post-completion tasks, such as filing, submission, and lodging of documents with Companies House, HM Land Registry, and other third parties.
  • Communicate with clients, third-party solicitors, and other relevant parties to provide updates on progress and address any questions or concerns.
  • Ensure all post-completion activities comply with relevant regulations and legal standards.
  • Prepare correspondence and documents, including transcribing digital dictation.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Business Law Department, including document preparation, filing, and correspondence management.

Requirements:

  • Advanced IT skills in relevant packages, including DocuSign and data room software.
  • Excellent typing skills, with the ability to maintain high accuracy levels.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and demonstrate a proactive approach to work.
  • Excellent level of attention to client service, with the ability to interact well with both internal and external clients.
