Residential Property Legal Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Property Legal Assistant to join our Business Law Department. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our fee earners, ensuring the smooth progression of residential property matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to fee earners, including handling transaction completions, preparing completion statements, and addressing outstanding financial queries.
- Communicate with clients, third-party solicitors, and other relevant parties to provide updates on progress and address any questions or concerns.
- Ensure all post-completion activities comply with relevant regulations and legal standards, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements and data protection laws.
- Prepare correspondence and documents, including transcribing digital dictation, and prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch.
- Make appointments, arrange meetings, and maintain an up-to-date diary for principals.
- Progress client matters without fee earner supervision and in the absence of a fee earner.
- Advanced IT skills in relevant packages, including DocuSign and data room software.
- Excellent typing skills, with the ability to maintain high accuracy levels.
- Ability to work to deadlines and demonstrate a proactive approach to work with a positive attitude.
- Excellent level of attention to client service, with the ability to interact well with both internal and external clients.
