Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced public relations manager to join our marketing team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing high-impact launch PR and communications strategies that grow awareness of HONOR as a leading smart-tech brand.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and execute successful PR campaigns across technology, electronics, and adjacent categories.
  2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, including lifestyle, consumer technology, business/corporate, and retail.
  3. Develop creative new PR and communication campaigns to attract attention in the media at peak selling moments.
  4. Lead and inspire the PR agency to achieve stretching targets that position PR as a key driver of growth for the brand in the UK and Ireland.
  5. Manage media inquiries, interview requests, and coordinate the planning/execution of media samples of new HONOR smart-tech.
  6. Set effective measurements for PR and communication impact, monitoring progress and performance for visibility across the business.
  7. Manage the PR budget, including internal procurement process and reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in PR is required, preferably in the UK and Ireland.
  • Proven track record designing and executing successful PR campaigns, ideally across technology, electronics, and adjacent categories or those with rapid new product and innovation programs.
  • Strong existing relationships with media outlets and capability to establish new relationships.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills that attract attention across media and audiences.
  • Experience integrating marketing and PR campaigns, especially into social media platforms is a plus.
  • BA/MA degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Adaptability and responsiveness to work in a fast-paced environment as a key part of a high-performing marketing team.
  • Comfortable in a multi-cultural environment as valued part of a fast-growing global business.
