Job Description for Year 5 Class Teacher & Subject Leader

At Clarus Education Ltd, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher to lead our team as a Subject Leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and lead a Year 5 class with a focus on academic excellence and pupil well-being
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and drive school improvement
  • Subject Leadership:
    • Lead the development of curriculum content and assessments for Year 5
    • Monitor and evaluate pupil progress in the subject area
    • Provide guidance and support to colleagues in delivering high-quality teaching and learning

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher with a proven track record of teaching Year 5
  • Strong subject knowledge and leadership skills
