Year 5 Class Teacher & Subject Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to join our team at Newham Primary School as a Year 5 Class Teacher and Subject Leader.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a class of Year 5 students and leading the subject area of Subject Leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach a class of Year 5 students and plan engaging lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Lead the subject area of Subject Leader and develop curriculum plans to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning across the school.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and completed the Early Career Teacher (ECT) program.Experience of teaching Year 5 students and leading a subject area.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A commitment to ongoing professional development.
