  • Offer guidance on HR policies and procedures, particularly in relation to recruitment and absence management.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to maintain a seamless HR service, particularly in recruitment and routine operations.
  • Maintain and update relevant staff data and tracking systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
College Responsibilities

  • Engage in professional development activities and contribute to a culture of high expectations.

Qualifications and Attainments
  • Minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards.
  • Degree-level qualification (highly desirable).
Training, Experience, and Knowledge
  • Proven experience in a busy HR environment, particularly in recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of people management practices, including recruitment processes.
  • Experience in providing HR advice and support to managers.
  • Familiarity with absence monitoring and documentation.
  • Experience in Further Education or a related sector.
Personal Skills and Attitudes
  • Displays initiative, enthusiasm, and a positive approach.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet organisational needs.
