Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineering Intern to join our team at Clear-Com, an HME company. As a member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the design, development, analysis, and testing of intercom products in an Agile development environment.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a strong interest in networking technologies and development on embedded operating systems, including Linux, Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android. This 12-week internship starting in Summer 2025 offers a unique opportunity to work on state-of-the-art intercom systems and collaborate with a dynamic and growing team of talented engineers.

This role will be based in our Cambridge office located in the Cambridge Research Park.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use Agile and lean methodologies in a scrum team with a dedicated mentor
  • Write and validate unit and integration tests
  • Collaborate on code reviews and update functional specifications

Requirements:

  • You are a good team player and a good communicator.
  • Motivated with great attention to detail.
  • Enjoys the challenge of working in a fast-paced development team.
  • Appetite to learn new products and tools.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under deadlines.
  • Ability to use multiple operating systems (Linux, Mac OS X, Windows).

Estimated Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
