Inclusion and SEND Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Inclusion Leader and SENDCo to join our team at Philosophy Education. The successful candidate will have a strong background in SEN and a proven track record of improving pupil outcomes.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires the successful candidate to review EHCPs and lead annual reviews, update the school's SEND record of need, and provide support for existing teachers with curriculum planning and quality first teaching.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing EHCPs and leading annual reviews
- Updating the school's SEND record of need and ensuring appropriate records of all pupils' progress and needs
- Providing support for existing teachers with curriculum planning and quality first teaching to improve outcomes for pupils
- Communicating with parents, outside agencies, and support teams as required
- Organising training for staff to ensure they are aware and confident about how to meet the needs of pupils within the school
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with children with SEMH and behavioral needs.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is between £45,000 and £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
