Salary: £41,799 per annum
Job OverviewThis role involves completing assessments of need and risk for children and families, using relevant documents to guide your work. You will build positive relationships with service users, ensuring their voices and wishes are heard.
- You will undertake statutory duties under The Children Act 1989 and other legislation, promoting anti-discriminatory practice and empowering children and families.
- Update and maintain high-quality case files in the council's database, ensuring accurate information and plans are recorded within timescales.
- You will provide witness statements for Court, accountable to internal and external agencies in line with Luton Borough Council Policies and Procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A social Work Qualification or equivalent
- Continual professional development
- Social Work England registration
