Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals experiencing mental health issues, promoting their quality of life and reducing social isolation.
  • Support individuals to access the right services and resources, empowering them to take control of their mental health.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and carers, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each service user.
Requirements
  • Level 2 Essential Skills in Maths and English or GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English.
  • A minimum of 3-6 months recent experience in a support role, preferably in a mental health setting.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including days, nights, evenings, and weekends.
  • NISCC Registration or eligibility to register from commencement of role.
