Carlisle, Cumbria, United Kingdom Barchester Healthcare Full time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Peripatetic Nurse to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality clinical leadership across various care homes in your region.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. This may involve coordinating with other departments, such as occupational therapy and social services, to ensure comprehensive support for our residents.

As a seasoned nurse, you will possess excellent clinical knowledge and skills, including up-to-date understanding of regulatory frameworks and guidelines. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with staff members, families, and external partners.

In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our nursing teams through mentoring and coaching. You will also participate in quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care and service delivery.

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability. The working hours and days will vary, depending on the needs of our care homes. You will have the freedom to work independently while being supported by our collaborative team environment.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is £45,000-£55,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration. A teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification is essential, along with a strong track record of producing care plans and detailed risk assessments.

We value a 'can-do' approach and excellent communication skills, which will enable you to motivate and inspire our teams in each care home you work with. If you share our passion for delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our nursing teams, we encourage you to apply.
