Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Engineer to join our client's team. As a key player in residential construction, our client is committed to delivering high-quality projects that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct structural and civil engineering design analysis for residential projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure technical and engineering requirements are met.
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of projects to meet deadlines and budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to address any structural or engineering issues.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Review and evaluate project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges during the development process.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, changes in regulations, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in structural and civil engineering, preferably within the residential construction industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits.
