Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering and be able to design and implement geotechnical structures, as well as provide input into civil and structural schemes.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Designing geotechnical structures in the temporary and permanent case
  2. Providing input into civil and structural schemes
  3. Reviewing and checking other schemes prepared by others
  4. Carrying out inspections and surveys of geotechnical structures and preparing reports
  5. Undertaking feasibility/option studies
  6. Working with cognisance to project programmes
  7. Providing guidance and training to more junior staff members where applicable

Requirements
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will need to have:

  1. A relevant Engineering degree
  2. Previous experience in geotechnical engineering
  3. A full UK driving licence and own transport would be useful but not imperative
  4. Eligibility to live and work in the UK and a high standard of written English
