Job Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Ritz Recruitment Limited. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational performance of a large residential rental development with communal facilities.

About the Role: Your key duties will include line management of the Operations Administrator, promoting a customer service culture, effective handling of customer complaints, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Line management of the Operations Administrator and supporting their development.
  • Promote a customer service culture and ensure resident expectations are met.
  • Effective handling of customer complaints.
  • Support of leasing and marketing for each building to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Monitoring on-site maintenance performance.
  • Assisting the General Manager with management of the refurbishment.
  • Ensuring that the property management system is being used efficiently and updated accurately by the site teams.
  • Training and coaching of new joiners and other team members.
  • Adherence to budget targets and cost plans.
  • Providing out of hours support if required.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of managing a residential building.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience of coaching and developing direct reports.
  • Strong team player with a willingness to support others.
  • Clear communication skills, verbally and in writing.
  • A positive, 'can-do' attitude with a desire to achieve outstanding results.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Can work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Environment: The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a dedicated team.
