About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Salesforce Developer to lead the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of our Salesforce platform. You will play a key role in delivering transformational change, ensuring the platform's continuous improvement, and enhancing customer experience through innovative Salesforce solutions.
This role is pivotal to driving business performance and ensuring seamless collaboration within the digital platform team, which includes developers, integration specialists, Scrum Masters, and product owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, providing technical coaching and fostering professional growth.
- Oversee and manage Salesforce development tasks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate these into actionable development tasks.
- Provide 3rd-line support, addressing technical queries, integrations, and change requests.
- Deliver enhancements and ongoing system administration across Salesforce clouds, including Sales, Service, Experience, Communications, and CPQ.
- Perform unit testing, peer testing, and automated/manual QA processes to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
- Demonstrate application features to stakeholders and contribute to ongoing platform usability improvements.
- Actively promote Agile and DevOps practices within the team, driving continuous process and policy improvement.
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation and ensure effective change control processes.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Strong experience as a Salesforce Developer with expertise in Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning components.
- Hands-on experience with SOQL, XML, JSON, and jQuery, with exposure to Omnistudio.
- Proven ability to design, deliver, and test Salesforce system developments.
- Experience deploying configurations into live environments and working with DevOps methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, or similar.
- Previous exposure to Salesforce ecosystems, including at least three of the following:
- SalesCloud (CRM)
- ServiceCloud (ITSM)
- CommunicationsCloud
- ExperienceCloud
- CPQ
Desirable:
- Experience with integrated technologies such as Conga, Copado, and Adobe Sign.
- Understanding of IT security principles, including SSO, CIA triangle, and security by design.
- Previous experience providing 3rd-line technical support and performing unit/system testing.
- Salesforce certification, such as Platform Developer I, or a robust Trailhead profile with relevant badges.
